After the preview of Volkswagen Golf R , we got another spy on the upcoming 2012 BWM M6 – thanks to our friends BMWBlog.
According to TeamSpeed, the new M6, available in 2012, will be available in both Coupe and Convertible variants.
To distinguish itself from other high-end auto, such as Porsche, Audi, Benlty, Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz, the new M6, needless to say will come with its own unique attributes and characteristics. The 2012 M6 will come with the typical wider rear fenders just as what the current model is offering. The usual four-tailpipe exhaust and the M-style bumper with diffuser will only available for the M models. On top of that, the M6 will also benefit from the big brakes behind the larger wheels and M-signature quad-exhaust pipes out back.
As much as the information is disclosed, the new M6 should be upgraded to 4.4 liter V8 engine, producing close to 600 horsepower. You should expect no more than 4 seconds from 0 to 60.
Unofficial source says 2012 BMW M6 will launch at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Nothing is confirmed yet.
